Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of quick-serve menu items with precision and efficiency, ensuring each dish meets quality standards.
- Follow standardized recipes and portion controls to deliver consistent, delicious meals every time.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen station, adhering strictly to food safety regulations and sanitation procedures.
- Assist in stocking ingredients, supplies, and ensuring all food items are properly stored for freshness and safety.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate meal preparation during busy periods, ensuring timely delivery of orders.
- Monitor food temperatures and quality throughout the cooking process to uphold safety standards.
Experience
- Previous experience in food preparation or commercial kitchen roles is essential.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards is essential to ensure safe meal handling.
- Experience working in a restaurant or fast-food environment demonstrates ability to thrive under pressure while maintaining quality.

We are a busy cafe operating a counter service At times it can be fast-paced, so you’ll need to
be comfortable working under pressure, working as part of a team and maintaining great service when things get busy.
This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your hospitality skills while working in a fast-paced, friendly environment.
Outlets in Longton & Tarleton, typically 3-4 shifts per week 10am-4:30pm plus occasional Fridays 3pm-10pm.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee beverages and specialty drinks according to established recipes and customer preferences
- Learn our menu so you can confidently advise customers
- Greet guests warmly, take orders accurately, and deliver exceptional service to enhance their experience
- Assist with food preparation, including assembling snacks or light meals while adhering to food safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and equipment to ensure a safe and inviting environment
- Manage multiple tasks efficiently by prioritizing orders and handling transactions with basic math skills
- Follow all food safety protocols and health regulations diligently to ensure guest safety
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow during busy periods and support each other as needed
Experience
- Previous barista experience is required Or 2yrs Experience in serving or hospitality roles that
demonstrate strong customer service skills Knowledge of food safety practices and allergen awareness
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently in a lively environment.
